Meet Our 2026 Engaged
Summer Fellows
Free Tax Preparation (VITA)
WEBS Training Center is an IRS-authorized Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) site. We provide free federal and state tax return preparation to individuals and families who generally earn $67,000 or less per year. Our trained IRS-certified volunteers ensure that every client files accurately and receives every credit they qualify for.
Sunday Solutions
Sunday Solutions is WEBS Training Center’s holistic wrap-around support program, serving individuals and families across DC, Virginia, and Maryland. The program takes a whole-person approach, connecting participants to a range of services based on what they need most. Sunday Solutions takes its name from a simple, personal truth: some of our best clarity comes when we finally have a moment to breathe.
Financial Literacy Workshops
Our financial literacy workshops give participants practical, actionable skills to take control of their money. Workshops are offered in community spaces, partner organizations, schools, and online and are free and open to the public.
Low-Income Tax Clinic: Tax Controversy Assistance, STAR Program, & IRS Representation Services
Our Tax Controversy Assistance Program is dedicated to supporting low-income, ESL, and ASL individuals who are facing IRS issues.
Salsa Sprouts:
Indoor Garden Adventure
Salsa Sprouts introduces young learners and their families to the joys of indoor gardening by growing fresh ingredients for homemade salsa. Participants receive gardening kits and are
guided step by step by step by cultivating tomatoes, parsley, and green onions from seed to harvest.
Salsa Sprouts Cottage Village
WEBS Training Center is developing the Salsa Sprouts Cottage Village, a planned community of small, sustainable cottages paired with on-site career support, financial education, and community resources. The Village is designed to provide attainable housing for individuals and families experiencing instability, with a focus on those at or below 50% of Area Median Income (AMI).
Engaged Summer Fellowship
WEBS Training Center partners with George Mason University’s Engaged Summer Program to place students in real, hands-on fellowship roles across our programs. Fellows work on tax education, financial literacy, AI curriculum research, community outreach, and more – directly alongside our Enrolled Agent and CEO.
